All About Skeletons

The P5 children have been very busy researching and learning about human bones and the skeletal system.  They were given an opportunity to share their knowledge to the rest of the class with a presentation.  Some groups chose a more hands on approach and worked with plasticine, paper straws and pipe cleaners and some children used the laptops to create a slideshow presentation.

Each presentation had to identify the major bones and joints in the body and label them.  Also, to come up with interesting facts about the bones.  As an extension, they could add the muscle groups to the associated bones.
