This week we are learning about the body through Science.  We are completing science experiments based on - How our body works.
We began the week setting up experiments that we need to take measurements and observe over the week.

The  skills we are learning are:
To be able to take make observations and measurements
To be able to use simple scientific equipment

1)  How infections occur in the body - through investigating what happens with an apple, when it's skin is damaged.

2)  Why our bones are so strong?
We placed bones in vinegar to see what happens when the calcium is taken out of our bones.

3)  How what we eat, affects our teeth?

We placed 3 eggs in different liquids - water, coca-cola, and vinegar to see the effect it has on the eggshell (the enamel of our teeth)
