Learning history through drama

Today we had great fun performing our history plays to the class.  We have been learning about the Aztecs Empire and how it came to end. Some key people in the history of the Aztecs are Christopher Columbus, Hernando Cortes and the Aztec King Montezuma.  Through our plays we were able to learn and remember what the key events were, and the order in which they happened. (we also had alot of fun) .

Next week, we will move onto to the more recent history of chocolate, and how it went from a Mayan and Aztec delicacy, to becoming the most popular treat in the world.
